Payment up-front

Make a full once-off payment for your chosen course. With this option, you have the opportunity to *request all your study material upfront.
** Exam and international titles are updated on a yearly basis. If any of the study material changes during the course of your studies, College SA will not be held liable for providing you with the latest materials.

Monthly instalments

This is the most popular payment option and it is interest-free. Instalments are structured according to the length of the course. To start your studies, you are required to pay a R950 (non-refundable) activation fee and the first month’s instalment. Study material is couriered to you per subject, and as you complete and submit assessments, you request the next set of study material to be sent.
*We do not offer instalments for courses less than R1500.
*You are required to settle the full course fee before receiving your certification.

Pay per subject

With this option you can enrol for one subject at a time. This allows you to see if the mode of delivery suits your needs, without any contractual obligations. To start your studies, you are required to pay a R950 (non-refundable) activation fee, as well as the cost of the first subject. We will courier the subject’s study material to you.
*Instalment options are only available on subject fees that are more than R1500.

Exams can be taken in the order and combination you choose and at your own pace. Exams can be sat all through the year at over 5,000 computer-based assessment (CBA) centres around the world. After passing all five exams you will be awarded the Certificate in Business Accounting Qualification.

The entrance criteria as stated by CIMA:

  • You don’t need any formal qualifications to start this level.
  • You will need a good understanding of both English and Maths and a passion to succeed in business.
  • If you have any previous accounting experience you might be eligible for exemptions from subjects at this level.
  • Exam fees are not included in your course fees

Even though you do not need a Grade 12 to do this course, we would like to point out to our Students that it will be better for you if you do have Grade 12 Maths, to do this course.

Fundamentals of Management Accounting (C01)

Understand the role of management accountants in business and what is CIMA's role. Learn the basic techniques to identify and control costs, cost management, how to prepare budget statements and how to make decisions using different analysis techniques.

Fundamentals of Financial Accounting (C02)

Learn the basic concepts of financial accounting and how accounting is impacted by different laws and standards. You will also learn how to prepare accounts for transactions and how to prepare financial statements. This module also equips you with control techniques and how they are used to correct accounting error.

Fundamentals of Business Mathematics (C03)

This module focuses on the mathematics used in business. You will learn about solving equations, calculating probability and analysing data in a summary form. Get the techniques on how to use spreadsheets for calculations and presenting data for forecasting.

Fundamentals of Business Economics (C04)

Learn about the influence and the behavior of the financial market and how the government economic policy can influence an organisation. Understand the basic overview of the financial system and how markets and institutions enable commerce and development.
