(NQF Level 4 | SAQA ID 20352)

The ICB National Certificate in Bookkeeping is an NQF Level 4 qualification. To complete this course, you must work through four subjects, namely Bookkeeping to Trial Balance, Payroll and Monthly SARS Returns, Computerised Bookkeeping and Business Literacy. 

These four subjects will teach you how to manage public accounts and adjust public sector financial management to improve the overall productivity and outcome of government departments.

Study the Intermediate Level: Diploma in Public Sector Accounting course

(NQF Level 5 | SAQA ID: 20353)

The ICB Diploma in Public Sector Accounting is an NQF level 5 qualification. This course has four subjects: Financial Statements, Cost and Management Accounting, Technical Public Accounting and Business Law and Accounting Control. This course builds on the National Certificate in Bookkeeping course, which means that you first must complete the National Certificate in Bookkeeping course before you can register for this course.

Entrance requirements for this course: Successful completion of the Foundation Level: National Certificate in Bookkeeping.

Study the Public Sector Accounting: Advanced Level: National Diploma in Financial Accounting course

(NQF Level 6 | SAQA ID: 20366)

This ICB National Diploma in Financial Accounting course is an NQF level 6 qualification. This course is made up out of four subjects: Corporate Strategy, Management Accounting and Control Systems, Financial Reporting and Regulatory Framework and Research Theory and Practice. To register for this course, you will have to complete the National Certificate in Bookkeeping and Diploma in Public Sector Accounting courses.    

Entrance requirements for this course: Successful completion of the Intermediate Level: Diploma in Public Sector Accounting course.
