Customer Relationship Management

This module you will learn the fundamental skills for customer relationship management. You will understand the principles of market intelligent enterprises and how to effectively create loyal customers. Learn how to develop a successful customer relationship management programme and draw up a plan for implementation considering all factors including costs.

Introduction to Business English

This module covers the different elements and barriers of communication. You will get a general understanding of the communication process. As well as skills and techniques to interpret body language. Improve your speaking, listening, writing, telephone and reading skills. Understand how to work as part of a team, deal with conflict and what business ethics involve.

Anatomy and Physiology for Therapists

This module introduces you to components of the human body, cells and tissues, genetics, and the structure and function of the different parts of the body. You will also learn about the different bodily systems such as the respiratory system, digestive systems and lymphatic system.

Professional Salon Skills

You will learn how to effectively communicate (verbally and non-verbally) with clients, present a professional image, deal with client complaints and perform reception duties within a beauty salon. You will also learn how to assess clients and maintain hygiene standards.

Nail Care Theory

This module covers the anatomy and physiology of the hand and foot and the nail structure. You will learn about the different nail techniques like UV gel nails, nail art, manicures and pedicures. You will also learn about the tools, equipment and product used in nail care.

Lash and Brow Services

This module covers the theory behind lash and brows. You will learn about brow shaping techniques, lash care, applying artificial lashes and lash and brow tinting. You will also learn how to advise clients.

Introduction to Massage

This module focuses on the basics of massage therapy. You will be equipped with a fundamental understanding of massage and learn the difference between massage, shiatsu and reflexology. You will also learn how to create a relaxed environment for the client and physically apply massage therapy; using basic techniques. 

Facial Skin Care Theory

You will learn about the anatomy of the skin, different skin types and skin hygiene. You will also learn about the different facial treatments, how to prepare skin for a treatment and which techniques and product to apply.

Networking for Success

You will learn how to build relationships in business that are mutually beneficial. This module covers the do's and don'ts of networking, nurturing relationships and using the telephone, email and internet for networking purposes.

UV Gel Nails and Nail Decoration

This module introduces you to the history of nail decoration, how to apply nail decoration and UV gel nails. You will learn how to prepare the nail, how to apply gel nails correctly and how to remove the gel.

Makeup Application

You will learn about different makeup techniques, makeup tools, makeup for different ages and special occasions. You will also learn how to assess clients and match their makeup to their skin tone and hair color.

Full Body Massage Techniques

Learn how to apply Shiatsu and Reflexology. This module covers the anatomy of the human body as well as Shiatsu and Reflexology. You will be able to explain what Shiatsu and Reflexology is and how to perform these two massage systems. 

Facial Skin Care Techniques

This module covers different types of facials such as anti-aging, deep cleansing and oxygen. You will learn how to assess clients, how to prepare the skin for a facial and how to keep to salon hygiene standards. You will also learn how to advise clients about caring for the skin after a facial.


In this module you will learn about the differences between an entrepreneur, small business manager and an intrapreneur. It will equip you with the key success factors for entrepreneurship and explains the characteristics and important functional management skills that entrepreneurship entails. You will also be introduced to the basic business concepts, business environment and feasible small business ideas.

Business and Office Administration

This module covers filing systems and record keeping, keeping an office inventory and maintaining office equipment. You will also learn how to handle customer queries, communicate effectively, make travel arrangements and arrange business events. This module also covers business banking and finances.
