Study the Beauty Therapy Short course

(College SA certificate confirming course completion)

This Beauty Therapy Short Course will introduce you to the world of beauty therapy. You will learn the basics of anatomy and physiology of the hands and feet, how to behave like a professional in the workplace and how to communicate effectively with your customers.   

The subjects covered in this course include Introduction to Business English, Anatomy and Physiology for Therapists, Professional Salon Skills.

Once you have completed this short course, you will receive a certificate of completion. 

Entrance requirements for this course: Grade 10, able to read and write English and at least 16 years of age.

Study the Makeup Application Proficiency course

(College SA certificate confirming course completion)

In this makeup application course, you will learn the basics of makeup application. You will also learn about skin types, complexions and hair colour.  

The subjects covered in this course include Lash and Brow Services, Networking for Success, Financial Management Basics and Excellence in Service (Basic).

Entrance requirements for this course: Successful completion of the Beauty Therapy Short Course.

Study the Makeup Application Skills course

The Makeup Application Skills course takes a more in-depth look into makeup application. You will learn how to create different looks for different face types and sizes and enhance certain areas of the face. 

The subjects for this course include Makeup Application, Entrepreneurship, Excellence in Service (Advanced) and Business and Office Administration. 

To study the Makeup Application Skills course, you must first complete the Makeup Proficiency course. 

Entrance requirements for this course: Successful completion of the Makeup Application Proficiency Course.
