In this module you will learn what economics is all about, the economic systems, production, income and spending in the mixed economy, demand supply and prices and action, elasticity and the theory of demand; the utility approach and the indifference approach.
Business Law and Accounting Control
This module takes a closer look at the laws of business. It also covers accounting systems; internal control concepts, stock control, analytical reviews, and liquidation and executors' accounts. You will also learn how to manage your personal finances.
Production and Operations Management
Production and operations management involves the transformation of production and operational inputs so that when it's distributed, it meets the customer's needs. In this module you will learn about operations management, supply chain management, design of goods and services, process design, strategy and management, forecasting, inventory management, material requirements planning, capacity planning, aggregate planning, short-term scheduling, lean systems strategy for operations, quality management, tools and techniques, project management and operations management challenges.
Quantitative techniques involve objective measurements and analyzing numbers in order to draw conclusions about the subject researched. This module covers statistics in management, exploratory data analysis, the foundation of statistical inference, making statistical inferences and statistical models for forecasting and planning.
