This module will show you how to manage an office effectively. You will learn which skills and personal attributes are required in an office environment. You will also learn how to manage all the day-to-day functioning of the office, including administration, communication (via email and telephone) and organising meetings.
Personnel Management
This module differentiates between management and leadership. You will learn about different leadership styles and how to apply one (or a combination) of these styles to a business department. This module discusses how to communicate with, and motivate, employees effectively in order to increase productivity. You will learn how to understand employee behaviour, how to delegate work, and how to evaluate employees.
