Study the Engineering Studies Fitter and Turner N1 course
(You will receive an NQF Level 1 National Certificate)
This course is the first of three theoretical fitter and turner courses. In this course, you will learn about the manufacturing and assembling of components for machinery, engines etc.
The subjects covered in this course include Mathematics N1, Engineering Science N1, Engineering Drawing N1, and Fitting and Machining Theory N1.
Once you have completed this course, you will receive a recognised National Certificate.
Entrance requirements for this course: Grade 9 passed with Mathematics and Physical Science, ability to read and write English and at be least 16 years of age.
Study the Engineering Studies Fitter and Turner N2 course
(You will receive an NQF Level 2 National Certificate)
The N2-level course builds on the N1-level course. You will be equipped with intermediate-level theoretical knowledge and skills.
The subjects covered in this course include Mathematics N2, Engineering Science N2, Engineering Drawing N2, and Fitting and Machining Theory N2.
Once you have completed this course, you will receive a recognised National Certificate.
Entrance requirements for this course: Successful completion of the Fitter and Turner N1 course.
Study the Engineering Studies Fitter and Turner N3 course
(You will receive an NQF Level 3 National Certificate)
This is the last course in the fitter and turner programme. Once you have completed the N3 course, you can apply for practical training.
The subjects covered in this course include Mathematics N3, Engineering Science N3, Engineering Drawing N3, and Mechanotechnology N3.
Once you have completed this course, you will receive a recognised National Certificate.
Entrance requirements for this course: Successful completion of the Fitter and Turner N2 course.
