Study the Engineering Studies Motor Trade N1 course

(You will receive an NQF Level 1 National Certificate)

The Motor Trade N1 Certificate course covers the basics of motor trade. You will learn the theoretical aspects of motor trade, mathematics, science and technical drawing and auto electronics.   

The subjects covered in this course include Mathematics N1, Engineering Science N1, Industrial Electronics N1/Engineering Drawing N1 and Motor Trade Theory N1. 

Once you have completed this course, you will receive a recognised National Certificate.

Entrance requirements for this course: Grade 9 passed with Mathematics and Physical Science, able to read and write English and be at least 16 years of age. 

Study the Engineering Studies Motor Trade N2 course

(You will receive an NQF Level 2 National Certificate)

The Motor Trade N2 Certificate course builds on the N1 course. You will learn how to repair a motor vehicle and how to analyse and locate faults in a car, bus or motorcycle.  

The subjects covered in this course include Mathematics N2, Engineering Science N2, Industrial Electronics N2/Engineering Drawing N2, and Motor and Diesel Trade Theory N2.

Once you have completed this course, you will receive a recognised National Certificate.

Entrance requirements for this course: Successful completion of the Motor Trade N1 course. 

Study the Engineering Studies Motor Trade N3 course

(You will receive an NQF Level 3 National Certificate)

The N3 Certificate in Motor Trade is the last course of the three. Once you complete this course, you will get a recognised National Certificate. This certificate will equip you with the knowledge and skills required to complete your practical training. 

The subjects covered in this course include Mathematics N3, Engineering Science N3, Industrial Electronics N3/Engineering Drawing N3, and Motor and Diesel Trade Theory N3.

Entrance requirements for this course: Successful completion of the Motor Trade N2 course.
