Enrolling and Studying at College SA

Studying has never been easier

I’m so excited! Martin has decided to further his education! Not only do I know that he will love studying, but I’m confident he’s going to have a career that he will be proud of!

Martin has decided to further his studies through College SA – just like me! He’s asked me to explain the enrolment process to him, and to you (in case you also want to study through College SA). He also wanted a recap of how studying at College SA works.

Enrolling at College SA

The enrolment process is straightforward. Here’s what you do:

Choose a course

The very first thing you should do is to go to the College SA courses page. You can have a look at the different courses they offer. Each course is described on the website, and they tell you which subjects you must complete.

If you know which course you’d like to study, check that particular course’s entry requirements to make sure you qualify.

Fill in the form

On the College SA website (usually to the left of the page you’re on) there’s a form you can complete. Once you’ve submitted the form, an Educational Planner will phone you.

If you’ve been getting Martin’s emails, you may have already filled in a form. If so, you don’t have to fill in the form again (go to this week’s mailer from Martin and click on the Speak to an EP link!).

An Educational Planner will phone you

An Educational Planner will call you to help with your enrolment. He/she will also answer any questions you may have about a course, or how to study with College SA.

Complete registration and pay your first instalment

You can complete your registration over the phone. Then, you can send the necessary supporting documents to your Educational Planner via email. The supporting documents you need to submit are:

  • A completed and signed registration form
  • Proof of payment of your registration fee
  • Completed debit order form/mandate
  • Proof of address (Where your study material will be couriered to)
  • Copy of your ID
  • Copy of your highest qualification/grade passed

Remember that you can always speak to an Educational Planner if you get stuck in the process.

Studying at College SA

Studying at College SA is really easy. Once you’ve received your study material, you can start your studies and complete your assignments. Remember there are no classes, and you don’t have to buy any extra books.

College SA will automatically enrol you in their Online Classroom. The Online Classroom is a discussion forum where you can chat with other students and your course tutor about studies. This means that you are never alone in your studies!

The accredited courses have due dates for assignments. These assignments test your knowledge of the course material and help you prepare for your exams. They are also used to determine whether you qualify for your exam and count toward your year mark.

You are responsible for booking your exam spot at an external examination venue. But, if you are unsure, ask your Educational Planner or tutor to explain to you how to do it!

Getting an education has never been this easy!

Remember you can enrol at any time of the year, they offer payment plans, and you can work and study - easy as that!

I hope you’ll join Martin and me at College SA!
